We guarantee that every transaction made on www.sis-t.redsys.es is 100% secure. All transactions involving the transmission of personal or banking data are carried out using a secure environment. www.sis-t.redsys.es uses a server based on the standard security technology SSL (SecureSockedLayer). All the information you transmit to us travels encrypted through the network.
Likewise, your credit card information is not registered in any database but goes directly to the POS (Point of Sale Terminal of the Bank).
We also inform you that, in an effort to provide greater security to credit card owners, we have incorporated in our payment gateway the secure payment system called Secure Electronic Commerce. In this way, if you are a “secured” card holder, you will always be able to make payments with VISA or MASTERCARD in our online store. When paying with VISA or MASTERCARD you will always be asked for the following information: the card number, the expiration date, and a Validation Code that coincides with the last 3 digits of the number printed in italics on the back of your VISA or MASTERCARD, thus offering more guarantees about the security of the transaction.
What is Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure Code?
Secure Electronic Commerce
It is a system to secure Internet transactions promoted by Visa International and Mastercard among others. The main purpose is to provide greater security to both the Internet user and the companies that sell through the Internet by authenticating the buyer as the legitimate holder of the card being used.
In practice, when paying with a “secured” VISA or MASTERCARD card, in addition to the number and expiration date, a personal password for exclusive use for Internet purchases will be requested, which unequivocally identifies you as its owner. In this way, no one will be able to make a purchase on the Internet if they do not know this password. You will be able to distinguish if the Secure Electronic Commerce protocol is activated or not through the “Verified by VISA” and “MasterCard SecureCode” logos.
If you have not yet received a personal password for exclusive use for Internet payments, we advise you to ask your financial institution to register your cards with the Secure Electronic Commerce service. To do so, you can contact your bank or, if you are an electronic banking customer, you can request it directly online.
